This garment is part of our Anniversary Collection, celebrating our 75-year heritage as one of the originators of American sportswear. The collection is inspired by vintage GANT pieces and includes a limited run of archive replicas. This garment is a replica of the early 1980s rugger which was acquired from a vintage dealer in South Korea. The original piece arrived covered in authentic bleach stains, making it look like something straight out of the punk scene. For the replica version, we kept it stain-free and softly washed for a worn-in, crisp feel. Designed to be unisex, this heavy rugger is cut for a relaxed fit and features varsity-inspired stripes across the body and sleeves. It is crafted with a twill collar, ribbed sleeve cuffs and GANT-branded rubber buttons on the placket. The design is complete with twill side slits and a GANT embroidery on the locker loop. This garment is intended for a relaxed fit. For a closer fit, we recommend sizing down.
